PEI Mutual Insurance Fall Fling Classic Wraps Up with Outstanding Junior Curling Action
The annual PEI Mutual Insurance Fall Fling Classic came to an exciting finish this past weekend, showcasing some of the best young curling talent from across Atlantic Canada and beyond. Fans, families, and spectators were treated to a weekend of thrilling matches, with both finals decided on last-rock shots.
Teams representing clubs from across Prince Edward Island were joined by competitors from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and even a guest team from Ontario, creating a strong field and exceptional competition. The level of skill and sportsmanship displayed by these junior curlers was truly impressive, with every team demonstrating remarkable shot-making, strategy, and composure throughout the event.
Organizers were very pleased to host such a high-calibre group of developing athletes and look forward to welcoming them back again next year. Events like this continue to highlight the bright future of junior curling in the region and the dedication of coaches, parents, and volunteers who make it possible.
A special thank-you goes out to our title sponsor, PEI Mutual Insurance Company, for its continued support of youth curling, and to the ice crew for preparing excellent conditions all weekend.
