League information

The Thursday night fixed team league is a competitive mixed gender league with teams of 4 players for intermediate and experienced curlers. Members wishing to join this league register as a team (note: for individual entries, we will try our best to help you find a team).

League specific notes

  • Same teams play together the entire season and in playoffs
  • Tiered division structure allows teams to be grouped by similar skill
  • Teams move up or down in divisions based on performance of previous sessions

  • Team (or individual) entry
  • 8-end games
  • 3 draws per year (sign-up required for each draw)
  • Thursday evenings @ 6:30pm (if registration numbers warrant, league may include 8:45pm games)

    • League rules

  • Draw 1 will be 2 divisions grouped by similar ability
  • Draw 2 will be 2 divisions based of draw 1 wins & losses with 1 top team & 1 bottom team switching divisions
  • Draw 3 will be 2 divisions based of draw 2 wins & losses with 1 top team & 1 bottom team switching divisions
  • Standings/Rankings are determined based on points and tie-breaker rules posted for 'Summerside Curling Club - League Games'
  • If tied after 8 ends, each team performs 1 rock draw to the button with sweeping for the win/loss
  • Max 2 spares per team are allowed to play; all must be club members
  • Five-rock free guard zone and no tick rules are in effect
