League information

The Wednesday night recreational league is a social, non-competitive mixed gender league with teams of 4 players of all experience levels (beginner, novice, intermediate, experienced). Members wishing to join this league register individually, as a pair or by team with the goal to have the teams as balanced (skill level) as possible. Players are encouraged to enjoy the social side of curling, try different positions, refresh your playing skills, and learn the finer points of curling.

League format

  • Individual, pairs, or team entry
  • 8-end games
  • 3 draws per year (sign-up required for each draw)
  • Wednesday evenings @ 6:30pm (if registration numbers warrant, league may include 8:45pm games)

    • League rules

  • 3 draws (6-8 weeks each) with reshuffling of teams after each draw
  • If tied after 8 ends, each team performs 1 rock draw to the button with sweeping for the win/loss
  • Max 2 spares per team are allowed to play; all must be club members
  • Five-rock free guard zone and no tick rules are in effect
